  • Mehr Saffron operates in the U.S.A. and complies with applicable U.S. law.

II. Ordering & Payments

  1. Order Placement
    • Orders can only be placed through our secure online checkout system.
    • You will have the opportunity to review, edit, or cancel items before final submission.
  2. Order Confirmation & Acceptance
    • A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of your order.
    • Acceptance of your order occurs only when we dispatch the goods and send you a shipping confirmation.
  3. Right to Refuse Orders
    We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders if:

    • Products are unavailable at dispatch.
    • Payment authorization fails.
    • Pricing or description errors are discovered.
    • Delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect customer information or refusal to accept.
  4. Pricing
    • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
    • Prices include packaging and handling, but exclude taxes and duties for international orders.
    • Prices may fluctuate due to the saffron market; confirmed orders will not be retroactively adjusted.

III. Shipping & Delivery

  1. Carriers
    Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL.
  2. Delivery Estimates
    • U.S. Orders: 2–7 business days.
    • International Orders: 5–14 business days (subject to customs delays).
  3. Customs & Duties
    • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import restrictions.
    • Mehr Saffron is not responsible for packages delayed, seized, or destroyed by customs.
  4. Damaged Shipments
    • Customers must inspect deliveries immediately upon receipt.
    • Visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
    • Concealed damages must be reported within 7 days.
  5. Risk of Loss
    • Risk passes to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

IV. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

  1. Eligibility
    • Returns are only accepted for unopened, sealed products within 7 days of delivery.
    • Opened or tampered packages are non-refundable due to food safety regulations.
  2. Process
    • Customers must request return authorization via email before sending items back.
    • All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  3. Refunds
    • Refunds (minus restocking and shipping fees) are processed within 14 business days after inspection.
  4. Cancellations
    • Orders may be canceled before dispatch for a full refund.
    • Refused deliveries are subject to return shipping and a 10% restocking fee.

    • Mehr Saffron products are sold as gourmet food/spices.
    • They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

    • We do not provide medical advice.
    • Customers should consult a licensed healthcare professional before using saffron, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or suffering from medical conditions.
  3. Safety & Consumption
    • Excessive saffron consumption may cause adverse effects (e.g., nausea, dizziness, pregnancy risks).
    • Recommended intake is limited to 3 milligrams per day or ~3 grams per month.
    • Pregnant women should avoid saffron without express medical approval.
  4. Liability Waiver
    • By purchasing saffron, you assume full responsibility for its safe and appropriate use.

VI. Intellectual Property

  • All content, including logos, images, product descriptions, and website design, is the property of Mehr Saffron.
  • Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

VII. Website Use & Conduct

  • You agree not to misuse the website (e.g., hacking, uploading malicious software, posting unlawful content).
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

VIII. Limitation of Liability

  • Mehr Saffron is not liable for:
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
    • Customs seizures or shipping delays.
    • Misuse or over-consumption of saffron.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
