Persian Saffron is in my opinion the best in the world. I had been looking for a source of this kind that was available at a reasonable price for quite some time and am pleased to report that this company provides exactly what I have been seeking. It’s subtly flavorful, with a rich color, and an asset to any dish where saffron is essential. Mehr Saffron shipped the order promptly and it arrived in a VERY reasonable time. I was looking for a good source of Persian saffron so that I don’t have to rely on friends and family to bring it back from Persia. I ordered a small quantity of mehr product in order to test it without spending a lot. I am more than pleased with this source of saffron. This saffron is very fragrant and has a robust color and flavor. I am not disappointed and plan to purchase again in a larger quantity. It’s not always that one is pleasantly surprised when testing a product! Refreshing!

There are a lot of sources for saffron out there and dubious quality saffron is rampant! This is the real deal. The Mehr saffron came promptly, well packaged for the precious spice that it is, and in a gorgeous little glass jar. The fantastic aroma when the jar was opened was heavenly! I ordered my saffron to cook with but I was surprised to learn about the health effects of saffron and I plan to explore that aspect in more depth. The Mehr saffron people included an interesting pamphlet about those benefits that piqued my interest. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Mehr Saffron is amazingly delicious and offers many health benefits. The containers are made of glass and a cork top. Many types of food application to add favor to the most bland of pallets. Use very little and still have significant favorable meals. Would definitely buy again!

The saffron came quickly, was packaged beautifully, smells delicious, and made incredible paella. I had no idea that there were so many healthy benefits to using saffron. I’m going to try a few of the tips in the included brochure. Saffron Tea?! Sounds great.

I have been using Saffron for more than 20 years and have never been satisfied with the commonly available products. But Persian Saffron is very different. While is it relatively expensive, it requires much less to create a great flavor and color. Many recipes call for 1/4 or 1/3 teaspoon of saffron. You never need more than 10 or 15 saffron threads in most recipes. Start by using a smaller amount then add more if you really need it.

I received my saffron today and was so pleased with my purchase. Ordering was effortless, delivery was quick, packaging was lovely and upscale, and the saffron is high quality and so fragrant. When my wife unwrapped the new fancy glass corked saffron package from mehr saffron and opened the the little plastic pouch holding the 5 gram of delicate deep red threads of saffron the fragrance emitting from it delighted both of us.

I know our saffron. We have tried different brands from different places. I think this is one of the best I have tried.

I also like the corked bottle to keep the flavor fresh. We have been using saffron for several years in a variety of dishes, such as plain rice, coffee and tea, cookies, hot milk drinks and some soups.

Fortunately, just a little bit of saffron does a great job flavoring and coloring a dish in an attractive yellow hue, and 5 grams goes a long way. I think it is a best price for the quantity and quality comparing with bad quality and very expensive saffron of other sellers.
